Why duplicate your map

Duplicating a map is a helpful way to safeguard your work and speed up map creation. Use it to create a backup or quickly build a new map based on an existing one.

How to duplicate a map

Method 1

1. After the map is created, click the three-dot icon next to the map title.

2. The “Duplicate” option will appear. After clicking it, you’ll be taken to a copy of your original map.

Method 2

1. Click the map you want to duplicate, then click the three-dot icon next to the map name, as shown in the image below.

2. Next, click the “Duplicate” option, and a copy of your selected map will be created.

What happens after a map is duplicated?

• Changes made to the duplicated map will not affect the original, and vice versa.
• Users who have access to the original map will not automatically have access to the duplicated copy.
